What to expect in Lyn's Yoga Class

  • A warm welcome and non-intimidating environment

  • Clear instruction with variations/modifications to suit your ability/health

  • Fun, variety and structured classes

  • A sense of well-being and peace

  • To feel energised, challenged as well as relaxed

My personal style is a contemporary Hatha yoga mixing a number of yoga styles to offer variety and enjoyment.  I feel my style reflects my relaxed personality, offering a spiritual element and traditional ethos which incorporates meditation and mindfulness.  My classes don’t usually include chanting, singing or sharing of personal information.  Every class is different so it is well worth sticking with yoga for a few classes to realise the benefits and connect with the practice.

Yoga is for everyone, men/women, any age, current level of fitness or ability.  If you are new to yoga then I recommend one of my gentle classes, however, the Hatha classes are suitable for everyone and poses can be modified to suit your level – so you can take it as far as you’re comfortable with.

The great thing about yoga is that is doesn’t require a lot of investment to get started.  You just need a yoga mat (approx. £10) and I recommend you bring a blanket and wear comfortable clothes.

If you’ve never tried yoga before then give it a go - come with an open mind and ready to feel great.

No pre-booking required.  All ‘pay as you go’ classes

Meditation, Breathwork & Mindfulness

Developing a meditation practice can have many benefits, most notably; reduce stress, feel calmer, more patient, lower blood pressure, improve memory and develop greater compassion for yourself and others.  Although meditation has its roots in Buddhism, you do not need to be a Buddhist to apply it to your everyday life.

By practicing a little meditation you can bring about a more positive mind, able to concentrate more easily, appreciate moments more regularly, feel more energised, productive, creative, happier and present.

Although it sounds quite an easy thing to do, our minds are constantly racing with thoughts and to be still can be quite a challenge.  Guided group meditation helps you stay on track, allows you the space and quiet to commit to a practice as well as the opportunity to share your experience with like-minded people.

At present I am only delivering Corporate Meditation, Mindfulness and Breathwork Sessions online.
